Schedule a virtual appointment with me.
We will be having our first meeting where you can discuss your needs and I can explain the services that I provide. At the end of the meeting, if determined that we are a good fit for each other, I will send you a contract. Once you have signed and submitted all paperwork, you can then book a service with me. I will create a schedule with you; if you will be receiving reoccurring services from me.
All that comes with prenatal and birth services.
The birthing package includes the following:
Pregnancy can be physically challenging, and I am here to provide gentle and comforting touch and massage during our in-person visits to help de-stress and relax your body.
Kindly note that I am not a licensed massage therapist. My touch and massage techniques are intended solely for comfort and relaxation within the scope of doula care and are not a substitute for professional massage therapy.
After our initial consultation, I will create a birth plan for you, based on your needs and desires. Throughout your pregnancy, we will add to, and make changes to the plan as needed.
I offer 1 session during your pregnancy, and 2 during your postpartum period. The first postpartum visit will be around three to five days after birth. The final visit will be three to five weeks postpartum. During visits, I will address concerns and provide you information. Additionally, I will advocate for you before, and during medical appointments. You will have access to communicate with me directly, as needed, even outside of scheduled sessions, to provide you continuous emotional support.
I offer general meal ideas and share basic information about nutritious foods, tailored to your eating habits, to help you maintain a healthy and balanced diet.
Please be advised that I am not a licensed nutritionist or dietitian. Any information I provide about nutrition is intended for general informational purposes only and is based on basic knowledge within the scope of a doula’s practice. It is not a substitute for professional nutritional, medical, or dietary advice.
I will help you calm your mind through your pregnancy journey, and prepare you to use affirmations, and meditate while delivering your baby. A big part of my work is providing you with sincere emotional support. I am here to help relax your mind, just as much as your body.
Please note that I am not a licensed hypnotherapist, and my guidance is intended solely for general relaxation and comfort within the scope of doula care.
As soon as labor begins, or your contractions get stronger, and closer together, I will be on my way to you, at your request. Once I get to you, I will support you through labor for 12 and a half hours. Within that time frame, I will be taking an hour break, so that I can best serve you. If your labor goes past my shift, and it's not rapidly progressing, I will leave for a couple hours to get some rest, and return. Before your labor, we can discuss a plan for if delivery doesn't go as planned.
All that comes with at home (in person) postpartum services.
Services included in your at home doula visits:
From bottle feeding, diaper changes, baths, I will be taking over for you and addressing all childcare needs.
As your doula, it is my job to ensure that you are eating well, sleeping more, and getting the self-care that you need and deserve. We want to make sure that we are doing everything in our power, to prevent postpartum depression.
I am here to ease your stress, and that includes looking after young children if your baby has older siblings. Making sure that their needs are being met as well, is very important.
Being a postpartum doula entails also caring for your home. Chores can get overwhelming when you have a new baby, and I'm here to decrease tedious tasks, so that you can spend more time taking care of yourself. Light housekeeping includes laundry, picking up living spaces, and washing dishes.
